Southshore is a privately held and managed group of integrated third party logistics companies established in 1978 providing warehousing logistics, fulfillment, quality control services, transportation services and real estate leasing and development to its customers. The Southshore Companies have expanded beyond the initial St. Joseph, Michigan operation to include locations in Benton Harbor, Bridgman, Kalamazoo and White Pigeon, Michigan; Elkhart, Indiana; Normal, Illinois; and Spencer, Iowa. The Southshore Companies control approximately 2 million square feet of commercial warehouse and office space and specialize in supply chain logistics.
“Southshore Companies” is the business trade name used by the following Southshore legal entities:
- Southshore Development Company, L.L.C., a Michigan limited liability company providing commercial real estate leasing, development and project management services.
- Southshore Enterprises, Inc., a Michigan corporation providing public and contract warehousing logistics, fulfillment and quality control services.
- Southshore Distribution, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company providing dedicated transportation services.
- Southshore Properties Indiana, LLC, an Indiana limited liability company providing commercial real estate leasing services.
